Raging Hunger

For the past 3 weeks my hunger has been raging. I find my self in an hour period opening the fridge multiple times and just staring into the fridge. Then I'll go to the cupboard and rummage through our food storage looking for stuff that sounds good. So far my chocolate chip stash is dwindling and the cheddar cheese sticks are missing in action. I think I've had more cravings after pregnancy than I had during. I couldn't help but think of this hilarious comedian, Anita Renfroe, she did a parody from a Carrie Underwood song. For those of you who are familiar with her she did a song called Momsense to the William Tell overture...super funny!! Anyway...the parody is called "Before I Eat" and there is this video clip in there of her in the fridge just stuffing her face as fast as she can. That's totally what I've felt like! All I need now is Reddi-Whip and Chocolate Syrup and my life will be complete. Here is a link so you can watch it. Enjoy!!!

I am totally that way when I'm nursing! I don't drop the weight at all until I'm done. I found that crunchy things satiate my hunger a little bit better. Like carrot and celery sticks, popcorn, and apple slices. Good luck...

Ah I remember well the constant eating while nursing. If I was there you would have a huge basket of goodies (mostly healthy ;) This is one of my best after baby gifts to new moms...maybe I'd better get out there and give you one!

Wow! That's so interesting. I've never heard of cravings after being pregnant, only during. But then again, I've never given birth so I have no idea.
