I am finished with having sick children. For 2 and half months straight I have had sick children ranging from one being sick or all three at the same time and I am done with it. And they are not mild sicknesses they are long lasting and my poor kids keep getting hit one right after another. I'm deeply upset right now because when a friend needed me the most I wasn't able to help her out and I feel horrible. I know you can't control having your kids sick but I'm tired of having to cancel everything, being unreliable, having to back out of things because sickness is just looming in our household, tired of cleaning up throw up and whatever other bodily fluid you can think of. This is going to sound selfish but I have had to put life on hold and I have no control over it whatsoever. I need the illness to stop and I need it to stop now. I need my kids to be healthy, happy, smiling and fighting with each other again. My kids have not left their sick beds since Monday night and the worry is awful. They are doing a little better just for the fact that I can at least be more than 2 feet away from them and know that they'll be okay for a little while. This is me complaining and venting because I can not stop thinking that I let my friend down and wondering if this vicious cycle is going to end. The hand steamer and the lysol are coming out in full force today. I'll probably regret venting like this later but this is how I'm feeling right at the moment. I know things can get or could be worse just give me some time to get over myself and I'll move on from here.

Magical age of 8
Our May Bear turned 8 this past week and on Saturday we were able to be with her as she got baptized. It was her decision that she wanted to become a member of the church. Her Daddy got to baptize and confirm her. The program was wonderful. My favorite part of the program was her friend Josh got baptized along with her and his Uncle spoke and did a little exercise with him to show him how we listen for the Holy Ghost. He did a trust exercise where he fell back into his arms. Then his Uncle blindfolded him and stood in front of him and his Uncle stepped really far away and told him to fall backward. Josh was listening to his voice and knew that his Uncle was in front of him so he fell forward even though his Dad had quietly come up to catch him from behind. Needless to say there wasn't anyone to catch him as he fell forward. It was really funny.
