Magical age of 8

Our May Bear turned 8 this past week and on Saturday we were able to be with her as she got baptized.  It was her decision that she wanted to become a member of the church.  Her Daddy got to baptize and confirm her.  The program was wonderful.  My favorite part of the program was her friend Josh got baptized along with her and his Uncle spoke and did a little exercise with him to show him how we listen for the Holy Ghost.  He did a trust exercise where he fell back into his arms.  Then his Uncle blindfolded him and stood in front of him and his Uncle stepped really far away and told him to fall backward.  Josh was listening to his voice and knew that his Uncle was in front of him so he fell forward even though his Dad had quietly come up to catch him from behind.  Needless to say there wasn't anyone to catch him as he fell forward.  It was really funny.
