Primary Activity

This past weekend Maryn had a primary activity to attend. Somehow the stake primary presidency was able to get an Apache helicopter to land in the grass next to our church building. How cool is that??? The helicopter was supposed to fly in at 10:00 but for some reason we heard it overhead before the time it was supposed to land so we hurried outside to our back deck and watched the helicopter land in the field next to the church. Lucky for us we have a great view of the church. It was awesome!! This made Maryn get dressed faster and I walked her down to the church to see the helicopter. When it was our turn to go see the helicopter Maryn got to touch the metal on the helicopter. She touched the gun turrets and even high fived a real helicopter pilot. Then her friends became more interesting since the helicopter just sat there. Maryn has a knack for including herself with whatever group of girls is around no matter how old they are. About a year ago Maryn was really interested in airplanes and Matt told her that pilots drove the plane. She couldn't pronounce it correctly so they were called airplane pirates.
