Hope is different for everyone. And I think overtime the aspect of hope changes depending on the situations that are set out before you. You can't touch it but sometimes it comes in forms of people, notes and messages. Sometimes there is an absence of hope that is then followed by a resurgence of it. It's kind of like cash in your wallet sometimes you have money in there and you can keep it there for a while. Then things happen and it disappears. The important thing that it always gets refilled somehow. So, here is my hope.
I hope...
for a camping trip with my family.
to be able to complete a temple session with my husband.
to be able to travel again.
to be able to visit family.
to feel security again where it was lost.
to be able to keep my promise to someone who is waiting.
to be able to change and be a better me
Your hope is probably different then mine. But it's still yours to own and keep. What are your hopes?

For Cryin' Out Loud
Can anybody do anything nowadays without being scrutinized by some activist group??? I read this article about Obama killing a fly during the interview...personally I thought it was quite humorous during the actual interview but now he's been frowned upon by the PETA. Here is the title of the article.
PETA wishes Obama hadn't swatted that fly
Rights group seeks compassion for curious and ‘least sympathetic animals’
"The group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals wants the flyswatter in chief to try taking a more humane attitude the next time he's bedeviled by a fly in the White House."
There has to be more important news out there than this????

Have I done any good in the world today?
I really try to be upbeat especially to conquer the Winter blues but yesterday was really emotionally draining. I try to be tough and act like things don't bother me but it's hard when you feel like you're being defeated in things that you're doing. I am the type of person who loves to help people. I can't bare the thought of someone having ill feelings towards me. I try not to care what people think but that little monster always creeps back up in the corners of my mind. Why I'm a little down is I'm trying to help...we'll say a group of people...but they are not viewing it that way and they perceive me and everyone around them as the enemy. I feel like my intentions have been misconstrued and that my character is under attack. I feel defeated and that I want to give up. In the past we've always moved so if conflict(which I try to avoid at all costs) comes my way I always knew that we would be moving soon but now that we have a house I'm here to stay. My mind and gut is saying RETREAT and RUN but my heart is saying YOU CARE TOO MUCH TO LET IT GO. How do you help someone that doesn't want to be helped. I wonder if the the Savior ever felt defeated in his efforts to bless people's lives. I wonder if he ever questioned if what he was doing was going to make a difference or if he wondered if he was overstepping his bounds.
I have a very blessed life, beautiful children and an amazing husband. He understands me better than I will admit. So, this is an odd request...kinda need a morale booster. If you have any funny stories or memorable moments with me I could sure be reminded of those. I just need to know if I've made a difference at all. Sometimes we go about life and wonder if we're making a difference. Where do we fit in the grand scheme of things? People struggle through out life and it's nice to know that when you're down you have a cheering section to lift you.

Don't forget to eat your veggies
In the past few months I've had to make some changes in my life yet again and one of being the food I consume...still working on coping with the stress part. My body has always been whacky when it comes to food but this time it's an effort of trying to eat the right foods to help something not working in my body work better. I'm a border line natural health nut but love my goodies too! Anyway...I had a list of foods that were supposed to be helpful and half of them I've never even tried before. What the heck lets try them all...ya only live once, might as well try everything. A lot of them are veggies. And might I say Brussel Sprouts are not as bad as people make them out to be. Sure I added brown sugar to the veggie mixture then simmered it in chicken broth but on their own they taste and smell like Broccoli minus the little green things that get stuck in your teeth. So why this mental block to Brussel Sprouts all these years? I think maybe my tastes are changing as I grow older because I used to not like Lasagna but then my sister made it for me and my view of that changed. My eyes have been opened. Try something new this week you may find that you actually like it.
